The cleaned maize enters the Maize De-Germinator through the inlet and passes into the processing chamber where it is subjected to controlled impact and friction. The rotating rotor and internal surfaces loosen and separate the germ from the endosperm and bran. After this process, the material is discharged for further separation and grading through sieves or aspirators in the maize milling system.
