Capacity 18 to 24 tonnes per batch (one drier)
A Paddy Steam Plant System provides controlled steam-based processing—primarily for soaking, gelatinizing, and partially cooking rice within the husk (parboiling). This system enhances grain quality, reduces breakage, and importantly, boosts nutritional and milling outcomes. Useful in manufacturing of single steam rice which is prepared by mini boiler. useful in drying of raw paddy which is dried by steam heat exchanger or direct husk power furnace or husk fire tube heat exchanger.
Benefits of Using a Steam Plant in Parboiling
- Higher Milling Yield & Quality: Uniform gelatinization reduces grain breakage and preserves color and structure.
- Improved Nutrition & Storage Durability: Nutrients like thiamine shift into the endosperm, enhancing shelf life and resistance to pests.
- Faster Processing & Lower Energy Use: Pressure systems shorten soaking/drying times and reduce fuel costs.
- Flexibility in Output: Systems can adjust coloring (white to yellow) and texture based on recipe control.
