Steam Drum Internals (Cyclones/Demisters)
Are specially designed separation components installed inside a steam drum to ensure the delivery of high-quality, dry steam. They play a vital role in removing entrained water particles from the steam-water mixture generated in the boiler.
Cyclone separators
Use centrifugal action to separate heavier water droplets, while demisters (mist eliminators) capture fine moisture particles through mesh or vane-type arrangements. These components improve steam purity, reduce carryover, protect superheaters and turbines, and enhance overall boiler efficiency and reliability.
