A plansifter is one of the most important machines in flour milling, used for the precise separation, grading, and sifting of ground grain into flour, semolina, and bran fractions. It consists of multiple sieve frames arranged in tiers inside a housing, which operate in a gyratory motion to efficiently classify product according to particle size.
