A gravity-based Paddy Separator (Zig-Zag Model) is a specialized device used post-husking in rice mills to separate brown rice from unhulled paddy. It employs inclined oscillating trays with zigzag partitions to leverage differences in weight, surface texture, and friction—allowing brown rice to be separated efficiently from paddy.
