A Scourer Machine is used in flour and grain processing to remove surface-level impurities—such as dust, sand, mud, insect fragments, and microbial contaminants—from grains like wheat, durum, rye, oats, and more. This ensures cleaner, safer, and more hygienic grains before milling or further processing. It typically operates via friction, using a rotor and abrasive surfaces such as steel screens or beaters.
