A rice length grader is a machine that separates rice grains by their length, effectively distinguishing whole (head) rice from broken or shorter grains. This process ensures consistency in quality and enhances the visual appeal of the final product.
These machines typically incorporate rotating indented cylinders. As the cylinder spins, shorter or broken grains are lifted by the indents and discharged into a collection trough, while longer, whole grains pass over the indents and are discharged separately.
